Parallax Digital, a Georgia based digital graphics corporation with over 20 years of experience in the industry, added a new digital table cutter to its finishing line. The machine, a DYSS V-PRO X7-1630 (5’ x 10’) sold by DGS, Exclusive Wholesale Distributors of the Korean brand for the Americas, came with a high frequency 1KW – 60,000 rpm router option to cut materials such as acrylic, mdf, Dibond up to 1.5” thick. The machine is powered by K-VISON System from AG/CAD (UK) for automated registration and KASEMAKE v11 Design Software for POP Displays and Packaging.

Here is a survey responded by David Clevenger, Director of Parallax Digital.

1. What do you think about the quality and performance of the DYSS V-PRO X7-1630 Digital Table Cutter and KASEMAKE Software just installed in your company?

DC: We have been running the machine two shifts for about six months and the performance has been absolutely comparable to our Zund machines including G3. We do like the Kasemake software as well, the software is a real time saver and relatively easy to use once you are given basic training.

2. How does it compare to any similar cutting equipment you have or had?

DC: Very similar to our Zund G3. Speed is actually quicker in some processes.

3. How was your experience with DGS before, during and after the installation?

DC: DGS has been responsive and has backed up their product well, we had some software glitches at first but they got everything corrected in a prompt and timely manner.

4. Would you recommend DGS products and services to others?

DC: Yes, we have had no lingering issues with the product, we are pleased with the engineering and the build quality. Actually impressed with some of the features.

5. Any comments or suggestions that you want to make.

DC: Maybe you could offer them in Ferrari red.
